GIS Software from ESRI
GIS software from ESRI is available free to registered faculty, staff, and students of Kansas State University through a Campuswide Site License agreement.
- For occasional users, the software can be accessed from numerous campus computing facilities.
- Students enrolled in GIS courses who prefer to work outside the campus labs, may obtain a one-year Student Evaluation license to install on a personally owned computer.
- Faculty members, lab managers, and others who control University-owned computers, may install ESRI software on K-State computers.

GIS Training from ESRI
ESRI offers numerous GIS training opportunities via the Internet and in traditional classroom settings at their facilities. Read more about ESRI Training and Education on the ESRI web site.

Services and Consulting
K-State GIScience Commons staff members are available to assist with design and development of GIS data sets, including enterprise level geodatabases with Oracle or SQL Server. We also have expertise in building online mapping applications, using ArcIMS or ArcGIS Server technology. Online Mapping
K-State GIScience Commons manages a number of web servers that deliver online mapping and geodatabase services utilizing ArcSDE, ArcIMS, and ArcGIS Server technology.

K-State operates a LISTSERV-managed mailing list (ksu-esri@ksu.edu) for discussion and announcements related to K-State's ESRI license and university GIScience events.
