GIScience Courses at K-State
Geographic Information Science (GIScience) underpins the wise use of geospatial technologies and methods, including GIS, acquisition and analysis of remotely-sensed imagery, cartography and visualization, and spatial analysis and modeling. Developing technical competencies in quantitative analyses, mapping, and programming - then combining these skills with critical thinking and creativity - positions students very well for careers that address today's most pressing social and environmental issues.
