Before beginning, please carefully read the local help documentation below to better understand how to properly install and authorize your ArcGIS Pro software!

Named User Licenses for ArcGIS Pro

Users of ArcGIS Pro are strongly encouraged to authorize their software using a Named User license rather than a traditional single-use or concurrent license. To obtain a Named User license, create an Esri account through K-State's ArcGIS Online Portal using your eID and password. The linked account that is created is assigned the GIS Professional Advanced user type and Publisher role in our portal. This user type and role grants a named user license for ArcGIS Pro including all extensions and users to view GIS resources, edit features, create groups and content, and publish features as hosted web layers in the portal.

Provisioning Files for ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Enterprise

For ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Enterprise users, current provisioning files service versions 10.1 through 10.8. Be sure to select the correct provisioning file for single-use (individual computers) or concurrent use (client licensing from a server). The concurrent use file supports 99 simultaneous users and are ideal for laboratory settings. For more information about how to correctly use provisioning files, see the relevant help file for your version of ArcGIS.
